SAT Subject Test Preparation

Test Description

SAT Subject Tests measure how well you know a particular subject area and your ability to apply knowledge. The content of each test evolves to reflect the latest trends in teaching and in learning. The tests fall into five general subject areas: English, History, Mathematics, Science, and Languages. All SAT Subject Tests are one-hour multiple-choice tests. A student can take one, two, or three tests on any given test date. Except for the Language Tests with Listening, a student may change their mind on the day of the test and instead select from any of the other Subject Tests offered that day.

Tutoring Services

Fox Chapel Tutoring offers the following SAT subject test preparation courses

Math Level 1	Math Level 2 2	English Literature
Chemistry	Physics	Biology EM

The basic SAT subject test course provides the following:

• Six one-hour lessons (six hours total) for the SAT subject test of your choice
• Test-taking strategies and any necessary content review
• Instruction provided in your home or any convenient location

Total cost for each SAT subject test course is $480. If needed, additional lessons can be purchased in one-hour increments for $80 per hour.
